Having rowed for University of London and Great Britain Under 23s, Richard returned to rowing last summer to coach the Cardinals Thames VIII. Unintentionally, he ended up rowing in the eight at Henley, subbing into the 4-seat. He is again coaching the Henley VIII for 2001.

Julian is currently at Durham University. He has broken off from his university club to row with the Cardinals VIII at Henley 2001.

Peter is studying Marine Geography at Cardiff University and coaching some of the women's crews.

Thanks to my experience with the OS 1st & 2nd Eights trip to Worcester, Massachusetts in 1990, I ended up coming to Boston for university. I rowed as number 2 for the college's 1st VIII. They were highly impressed with the experience I had accumulated over the 4 years of rowing at the OS. All thanks to T Tinkel! Unfortunately I gave the sport up to play Rugby instead... last rowed 1996.

Ian rowed at 6 in the Cardinals Thames Cup VIII at Henley 2000. He is now training hard for a world record attempt to row across the Atlantic in October over 41 days... He assures us his attempt will be in the name of the Cardinals! Ian is currently setting about the acquisition of £53,000 sponsorship and is often spending 15 hours on an ergo in a single training session! Mad.

Still living in Ireland (anyone coming over give me a ring: 00 353 (0)1 672 7885) and have moved back to Trinity after rowing for Neptune for a year. Training hard on the water and in the pub.

Currently rowing at Loughborough University, Andrew recently won Gold in the Lightweight Double Sculls at the Scottish National Championships.

Ollie rowed in the Scotland Junior VIII at the Home International Regatta 2001. He won two golds and a silver medal at the Scottish National Championships. Ollie stopped coaching in December to move up to Scotland. He managed to coach his Marlow crews to pick up several national medals. He now rows at George Watsons in Edinburgh. Moved to Scotland for a new challenge in the hotel industry.

I started my second year at Warwick by joining the Rowing Club, but due to personality clashes between myself and the exec I have given up. I am now looking forward and hoping to try new things. Hopefully the chance of rowing at Henley will give me the impetus to get fit and move on.

Dom has taken the initiative and realised he is best placed in the Cardinals VIII for Henley 2001.

Andrew was a part of the Cardinals Thames Cup VIII at Henley 2000.

Christopher has started rowing at Nottingham University but will take a seat in the Cardinals Henley VIII for 2001.

After a year rowing at Nottingham University, BJ has joined the Cardinals VIII for Henley 2001.

Last year Jon rowed in the Sandhurst VIII in the Temple Challenge Cup at Henley.

I have not got in a rowing boat for ages but have been keeping myself fit doing a triathlon here and there. I am now out of the Army but have yet to have the horrific hair displayed by members of the OSBC on their website!

Having rowed in the 7-seat in the Cardinals Henley eight last year, Chris has returned to stroke this year's crew.

Having last rowed 'seriously' for the University of London in 1990, Julian is now coaching at The Oratory and has taken a seat in the Cardinals Thames Cup Challenge crew for this summer.

After leaving The Oratory in 1988 as Captain of Boats, Charles went on to row and coach at Edinburgh University.

Finally coming to the end of my course at Cardiff Uni, and my time in the rowing wilderness, in a country that rows on the wrong side of a 2 inch deep river!

In my final year at Kingston Uni, studying Business Economics. Also completed the Lincoln to Boston Marathon this year in a pair.

Jon is currently studying at UCL. Nevertheless, he has found his priorities and joined the Cardinals Henley onslaught for 2001.

After winning the Thames Cup with London Rowing Club in 1998, Angus set out as stroke to the Cardinals crew last summer but had to pull out due to work commitments. He is currently training in a London pair for Henley 2001.

Rowed for Notts and Union at HORR, finishing 8th and winning Jackson Trophy. Won Nat Champs open 4+ and represented England at Home Countries in Cork, winning gold in the eight. Would like to hear from old Oratorian oarsmen...

Murray rowed in the Army's Thames Cup eight at Henley 2000.

Barry has joined the Club this year having last rowed at Brasenose College, Oxford from 1958-61.

I was injured a few years ago which curtailed any competitive rowing (although I have been known to jump in a boat...). I am now coaching at Twickenham RC, looking to build a squad for the 2003/2004 season.

I'm currently on a gap year in India where no one has ever heard of rowing. But I'll be back in the summer of 2002 to support the club from the bank.

Started at Manchester University this year and am enjoying it. Have not joined the Manchester Rowing Club but will be cheering on the Cardinals at Henley this year.

Phil has been a key player in the recent success of Exeter University's rowing. He coached and stroked the Henley VIII to the semi-finals of the Temple Cup at Henley 2000.

After a few years at Staines Boat Club, Steve broke off to row in the Cardinals Thames Cup VIII last summer but unfortunately was taken ill just before Henley. He returns this year to race for the Cardinals Henley VIII.

Paul last rowed at Pengwern Boat Club near Shrewsbury in 1995. He now lives in Ireland.

Now coaching at Abingdon School BC. Vague possibility of taking up veteran (!) rowing for Griffen BC (sorry).
