After an encouraging first outing and pub lunch, the crew decided to continue in an attempt at Henley qualification. After three weeks and just six outings, Marlow served as an important indicator of the crew's progress and a second place out of three in the first heat of Senior 2 fours provided hopeful signs for the Qualifiers the following Friday.
